In the afternoon, the choice is yours: sundowner drives, nature or night drives, hiking, tennis, giant chess, or pure relaxation in the on-site spa. All activities can be booked spontaneously on-site.

A Different Kind of Safari

Nine days is too short to reach Etosha, but you don’t have to miss out on a safari!

We’ve included a private game reserve, where wildlife roams freely across a vast area. Smaller than Etosha, but with its own charm, and a strong focus on conservation, research, and sustainability.

Your accommodation: beautiful twin rooms overlooking the plains, often with oryx or springboks resting nearby.

After warm days inland, reach the coast! In Swakopmund, enjoy fresh Atlantic air, colonial charm, and endless activities.

Your centrally located accommodation makes it easy to explore the town on foot. The day is free to plan as you like.

Drive approximately 350 km to Sossusvlei, staying at a self-catering camp just 4 km from the Namib-Naukluft National Park entrance.

Early risers are rewarded: morning light turns the dunes a magical red-orange. Explore Sossusvlei, the mystical Deadvlei, and later, the impressive Sesriem Canyon.

Back to the capital

Today you return to Windhoek. You’ll spend the night in a charming guesthouse right in our neighborhood – maybe we’ll even meet in person for a coffee and a little travel recap?

In the city, you’ll also have the chance to do some last-minute souvenir shopping.

The next morning, you have the option to go riding once more at a stable just outside Windhoek. A roughly 2-hour morning ride takes you through the landscapes of the Auas Mountains on reliable, well-trained horses. The riding stable is part of a popular excursion restaurant and is run by a German emigrant with extensive experience as a horse tour guide.

Of course, Windhoek also offers many other activities if you prefer not to go riding.

You only need to return the rental car at the airport at 4:00 pm at the next day.
