  • Welcome to Namibia!

You arrive early in the morning at Hosea Kutako International Airport.

At the exit, your rental car company will be ready to warmly welcome you and guide you to your vehicle – a Suzuki Jimny. Of course, upgrades to a larger vehicle, such as a Toyota Fortuner or Hilux, can be arranged in advance.

From the airport, it’s a short 25 km drive to your first accommodation – perfect for settling in and acclimatizing. If you wish, you can later drive into Windhoek for some shopping or a first impression of the city.
Your cozy guesthouse is located right in our neighborhood – we look forward to meeting you personally and sharing some insider tips for your adventure!

    Currently included:

    1 night, including breakfast

  • Red Sand & Rider’s Dreams

From Windhoek, your journey takes you to a stunning ranch – a true paradise for riders. Here, you’ll experience some of Namibia’s most impressive horseback rides: get up close to towering giraffes, gallop across the red dune sand, and soak in the endless silence of the Kalahari – a feeling of pure freedom.

For non-riders, the ranch offers plenty of activities:

    • Cheetah excursions

    • Sundowner & nature drives

    • Guided morning Bushman walks

    • Morning scenic drives

    • Night game drives

    • Star safari at the observatory

    • Relaxation at the Kalahari spa

    • 1 × safari ride for 2 people

  • On the Edge of the Namib – Appaloosas

On the fourth day, you drive approximately 240 km south from the Kalahari to the edge of the Namib Desert. There, the Farmers couple warmly welcomes you.
They breed beautiful, strong Appaloosas, perfectly adapted to the harsh desert climate and trained with great care and love.

You’ll stay in a newly built holiday bungalow, harmoniously integrated into the Namibian landscape, offering breathtaking views.

On the first afternoon, enjoy a relaxed introductory ride to get acquainted with the horses and surroundings.

The next day includes two more rides – one in the morning and one in the afternoon – ideal for fully experiencing the stunning desert landscape from the saddle.

    Currently included:

    • 2 nights, full board (excluding alcoholic drinks)

    • 1 × 1-hour ride for 2 people

    • 2 × 2-hour rides for 2 people

For travelers who don’t ride, there are plenty of alternative activities, such as guided walks or exciting farm drives. Programs can be tailored individually to your preferences.

  • Welcome to the Sand!

After unforgettable days with the Appaloosas, it’s time to pack up and head into the desert! Today, you drive about 160 km to the Sossusvlei area, right in the heart of Namib-Naukluft National Park. Your accommodation is a comfortable self-catering camp, just 4 km from the park entrance – perfectly located for early-morning adventures.

Conveniently, there’s a nearby gas station for supplies, a lodge next door for meals, or the camp can prepare a braai package (= barbecue) for a relaxed evening under the stars.

Wake up early the next morning to experience the park at its most magical – as the sunrise turns the dunes a fiery red-orange. From there, it’s approximately 60 km to the world-famous Sossusvlei dunes and the mystical Deadvlei – a sight you’ll never forget.

Keep your entry ticket safe: you can use it again in the afternoon to explore the Sesriem Canyon – another highlight of the region.

Additional tips, suggested routes, and insider secrets are provided in our exclusive guest booklet, sent to you after booking.

    Currently included:

    • 2 nights, self-catering

Optional: We can arrange an upgrade to a nearby lodge including breakfast and dinner.

  • Horses Again!

In the Naukluft Mountains, you can enjoy both hiking and horseback riding. Whether you’re interested in rock formations, plant life, wildlife observation, or simply soaking in the landscape and breathing deeply – the Naukluft offers something for everyone.

The horses here are part of the extended family, each with its own personality, preferences, and story.
